Borderland.
Last rays of warmth drift by
Twin sisters kiss the sky
As sun sets down on fresh sweet land
Lone pine on mountain high
Stands sentry to decry
The hopes and fears of borderland

The dark ones come at night
Twin sisters born by right
Blow musk across the sweetened land
Lone pine wafts to excite
Drawn in by loss of flight
There’s no return from borderland

Wings are duped and burnt
Twin sisters’ lustre has learnt
The glow attracts across sweet land
Lone pine sees all here
Sustenance and clear
Their remains forever rest in borderland
