Fervour
Rescind thy restless bosom
Come hest, be of full heart
Give all into passion wholesome
Do not give only in part

One hundred doves are falling
Through the tears of a lovers eyes
Breaking free of the calling
That erupts on green laced skies

The brilliant blue flowers are teasing
The bees to enter therein
Duped as they are into leaving
Unaware they have committed no sin

Opals with clarity are blooming
As fire rages in a lover’s dark soul
Burning with passion all assuming
Embraced beyond control

So fan these flames and be meld
Together in such heart rending sighs
As embers in the forest be felled
Reflected on pink laced skies

Breathless momentarily held apart
Clasped with the power of blown musk
The rhythmic beating of two hearts
As evening turns slowly to dusk
