The winter cherry in blossom
Has shed a beautiful tear
The mind feels a loss then
Through days of yesteryear

False love exciting yet fleeting
Blasé leads forth to regret
True love lasting undeceiving
Brings forth wholesome respect

Better yes to have loved
That fake love to be lost
Than not to have loved
Sweet sorrow the cost

Advice will not heal thy heart
However good it is given
Time will only heal in part
The parts that are riven

Winter cherry shed thy tear
Giving life to others around
A new love harkens to hear
Fresh, bursting with sound
