Love Left Town.
There’s a bus leaving town
She’s heading away
It’s all going down
I can’t make her stay
I’ve begged I’ve prayed
And opened my heart
But she wouldn’t stay
Now my worlds falling apart
She looks up and sees me
Smiles waves me goodbye
My smile don’t come easy
Choking the tear in my eye
She was only aiming to keep
It a casual affair
Says I fell in to deep
Climbed to far up the stair
Well baby you’re leaving
And my suns going down
My body it’s heaving
Like the frown on a clown
I’ me standing here speechless
How can you leave me like this
This aching is endless
I’ me still tasting your kiss
The station it’s empty
They say time heals all sorrow
Well my heart it’s empty
Wish there was some time I could borrow
