Do you remember the time

Though long ago it seems

When we faced the fiery dragon

In the theatre of dreams

 

My last glimpse was of you

Unforgettable that night

Now reborn on different worlds

In the universe of light

 

The dragon stands between us

Across the void of time

Our worlds can never oppose

The verse that’s given rhyme

 

For poetry is spiritual

From higher realms sent out

Teasing the concept of reason

Uniting the seeds of doubt

 

All the poets that ever lived

Their calling lives in me

The dragon breathed into my soul

Set my yearning spirit free
